Candlelight Ficus

Mit neuer Platte, frischem Sound und polierten Schuhen stellt sich die nette Funkband von nebenan vor: Candlelight Ficus ist der Name und funkelnd ist ihr Auftritt. Ein stilistischer Mix aus Funk, Soul, Latin und 80ies wird in ein modernes Popmusik-Gewand gehüllt und mit jeder Menge guter Laune, gefinkelten Texten und hochwertiger musikalischer Handwerkskunst auf die Bühne gebracht.

Moneka Group

Moneka derives from the word Woneka, a secret ceremony preserved by generations of family members of the unique Afro-Iraqi community in Basra. The Music of Moneka Group translates Afro-Middle Eastern culture and Middle-Eastern Modal Music to Jazz, Latin and Desert Blues. The modern Melodies carried by traditional Rhythms of Sufi Music create conditions of practicing higher states of consciousness and listening to the unheard. By listening to Moneka Group, the audience is invited into spaces of movement, spirituality, rootedness and playfulness.
